We are getting married at Cabra Castle (about 1 hr north of Dublin by car).

There is! We will be holding a rehearsal dinner for all guests the night before the wedding and a brunch for all guests the morning after the wedding. Additionally, for anyone that is arriving early (and would like to participate), we will be planning a few fun group activities the weekend before the wedding. More details to come on this soon.

We will have a rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding in Dublin and encourage you to stay in Dublin. You are also welcome to book a room at Cabra Castle or the surrounding area, Kingscourt (~3 km away). We only have a limited room block at Cabra the night before the wedding, but if you can find a room, you're welcome to it! Kingscourt and Cabra Castle are a 1 hour and 15 minute drive north of Dublin, so keep that in mind when making your plans.

We have a room block reserved at Cabra Castle for our guests for the night of the wedding. Go to www.cabracastle.com, and on the top right corner of the page you'll see two links: "Book a Room" and "Wedding Guest". Select the "Wedding Guest", and you'll be brought to a special booking page. Select the dates Oct 14-15 and enter Wedding Code W41410 in the drop down menu next to the date selection. You should see a variety of rooms available to book.

We are planning on booking bus transportation between Dublin and Cabra Castle on Monday and then returning from Cabra Castle to Dublin on Tuesday afternoon. If you aren't able to make it for our bus, don't worry! Renting a car and driving is not that bad. Nicole did it just fine when we went in February (minus the one curb she hit while she was gawking at the castle).
