Nicole and Andy meet for the first time in first grade. There aren't many pictures of us together at Sunset Elementary School, but how funny is this throw back of the 5th grade "graduating class" featuring Andy and Nicole standing side by side. Don't let that scowl fool you, Andy was the cutest little guy!

The date here is completely fabricated. But this is definitely from our high school years when we were pretty good friends. We hung with the same crowd and the boys were always dragging the girls along for some (harmless) mischief! We have some of the best memories as teenagers.

Andy joins the Marines and goes to University of Maryland studying Engineering. He spends 8 years in the Marines and although he and Nicole go to UMD at the same time, they grow apart a lot :(

Nicole graduates from PT school and Andy completes his military duty. Nicole starts her career as a PT and Andy is thriving as an engineer.

We are reunited! We start to see each other a lot more, hang out with the same friends, and generally become much closer.

Now, we are hanging out all the time! Doing A LOT of hiking.

...And a lot of snowboarding. We are really besties by now :)

We get to spend Andy's birthday weekend at the lake and discover that we might REALLY like each other. Ya know..."like like" each other.

We are spending loads of time traveling all over the globe with our friends!

We celebrate Andy's very first Christmas together! By now, we are officially official <3

...And falling in love FAST!

We spend the next year traveling, making memories, moving in together, and becoming inseparable!

We are serious, we are committed, and we are steady talking about our bright future together and how excited we are to spend it side by side! We are so in love. Andy has some questions about what kind of jewelry Nicole likes....hmmm...curious...

While backpacking on Red Eagle Lake trail in Glacier National Park, Andy gets down on one knee right next to the lake and Nicole looses her darn mind!

Nicole said "hell yes!", of course, as expected. And the rest of the trip is spent sharing the joy of being engaged with two of our very best friends, Kenny and Claire.

Which brings us to now. Happy, full of love and adoration, and so stoked to celebrate with all of our favorite people on 10/19/2024!
