Where should I fly into?
We recommend flying into San Diego International Airport (SAN). It’s the closest major airport to Oceanside and typically offers the most direct and affordable flight options.
How do I get from the airport to Oceanside?
There are several easy ways to travel from SAN to Oceanside:
Uber/Lyft: The drive takes about 45–60 minutes, depending on traffic. Expect to pay around $70–$110 each way.
Amtrak Pacific Surfliner: A scenic and relaxing option. Take a short Uber or taxi to Santa Fe Depot in downtown San Diego (about 10 minutes from the airport), then hop on the train to Oceanside Station (about 1 hour). From there, it’s a quick Uber to your hotel.
Rental Car: If you’re planning to explore the area, renting a car is a great option. Oceanside and the surrounding areas are very driveable. There’s ample parking at the wedding venue, though most hotels do charge for overnight parking.
Where is the wedding taking place?
The ceremony and celebration will be held at Botanica, a stunning private garden venue located just outside of Oceanside. The venue is about a 15–20 minute drive from central Oceanside.
Where should I stay?
We recommend booking accommodations in Oceanside, ideally near the Mission Pacific Hotel, where the bride, groom, and family will be staying. Most pre-wedding and post-wedding activities will be centered around that area.

What’s the weather like in December?
Southern California in December is mild and beautiful. Expect:
Daytime highs: around 65–70°F
Evenings: in the low 50s°F
There’s always a small chance of rain, so keep an eye on the forecast as the date approaches.
What should I wear?
Wedding Attire: The celebration will take place outdoors in a lush garden setting. Think cocktail attire with a garden chic vibe—dress to impress, but skip the tuxedos, jeans, or polos. Great suits, statement dresses, and elevated evening wear encouraged!
Layers: Evenings can get cool—a light jacket, wrap, or shawl is a smart addition.
Footwear: The venue has grassy areas and garden paths. Please avoid stilettos—block heels, wedges, or dressy flats are ideal.

Can I bring a +1 to the Wedding?
Unfortunately, due to space limitations with our venue, we cannot accommodate all of our guests to bring a guest of their own. Therefore, we regretfully ask our guests to please not bring a plus one, unless they are specifically named on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding!
Can I bring my kids?
Unfortunately due to space limitations with our venue, we cannot accommodate all of our guests to bring their children. We kindly request that you make arrangements to leave your children at home unless otherwise specified on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding!
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors, while the dinner and dancing will take place indoors.
Will there be an open bar?
Yes! There will be a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available to you at no cost. Please consider bringing some cash to tip our bartenders, though!
How should we get to and from the venue on the wedding day?
Parking is available onsite if you choose to drive. If you plan to drink , please do so responsibly and do not drink and drive - rideshare is the safest and easiest option for everyone.
We are not providing a shuttle to or from the venue, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
We strongly recommend using Uber or another rideshare service for both arrival and departure. The reception ends at 10pm and the venue fully closes at 11pm. Because rides can be limited at that hour, please schedule your Uber in advance.
If you're heading back to the hotel or joining us for post-wedding bar hopping, set your return ride to the Hyatt Mission Pacific (Oceanside, CA) - the main hotel where most guests will be staying and likely the easiest place to regroup.
