Black-tie optional. Our bridal party and family will be dressed in black-tie attire, and we invite you to have fun with it too! This means you’re welcome to wear an evening gown or tuxedo, but a formal suit or cocktail dress is also perfectly fine—whatever makes you feel your best to celebrate alongside us!

As much as we would love to have many more celebrating with us, we will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. This will be an adults-only celebration! Please check online for your name to RSVP.

The wedding ceremony will start promptly at 3:00 PM. Please ARRIVE EARLY so you can secure a seat in the church prior to the wedding procession. Consider Friday rush-hour traffic when planning!

Yes! There is a parking lot at The Church of the Gesu you can park for free during the wedding ceremony. You will need to move your car after the ceremony to either the Loews Hotel if you are planning to stay overnight or you can park in the parking garage across the street from the Ballroom at the Ben (904 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107).

If you click the "Travel" tab at the top of our website, that will share how to book a hotel with the discounted wedding block rate at the Loews Hotel Philadelphia. Please reserve your room in advance!

Yes! There will be a shuttle for any guests who park or arrive at the Loews Hotel in between the ceremony and the reception. The shuttle will take you directly to the Ballroom at the Ben from the Loews Hotel. Please plan accordingly to take one of the following shuttles: 5:25, 5:45 or 6:00. We will have the shuttle available at the end of the reception to return back to the Loews Hotel. Exact return times coming soon!

If you are planning to stay overnight, this would be a good time to check into your hotel room and freshen up before the reception. If you are not staying overnight, check out our "Things to Do" tab for some options or visit a local pub nearby. Here's a few of our favorites close to the Ballroom at the Ben: Craftsman Row Saloon, Top Tomato and Milk Boy.
