We first met when we worked together at Modell's Sporting Goods at Fresh Pond center in Cambridge, Massachusetts back in 2012. We reconnected 3 years later on Halloween night in 2015 when we both attended the same party at Hong Kong in Faneuil Hall. Since it was Halloween night in Boston all the lines to the bars were very long. I remember standing in line with my friends waiting to go in and seeing Matthew outside. We locked eyes for a second but I had no idea who I was really looking at. My friends and I finally get inside and went on to have a great time dancing together. Matthew ended up coming up to me in costume saying he remembered working with me. He remembered my name is Ninotchka, which almost no one ever calls me. You can imagine the look on my face as this tall man is coming up to me saying my full name. After a few moments of confusion, I remember saying "Oh yea, Kendra's younger brother", which he wasn't too fond of. We started talking for a little bit after Matthew was kind enough to buy me a drink. He then asked me for my number and more than once revealed to me that he wanted to take me out. After the bar let out, once again Matthew assured me he wanted to take me out and I simply told him he had my number. Two days later he texted me and asked me out and we've been inseparable ever since.
