Wedding Party

Emily Ferjuste Aduba
Emily Ferjuste Aduba - Maid of Honor
I have known my Emily for over 20 years. We went to school together from Kindergarten to through high school. Although we went to different colleges, we remained the best of friends. She has been there for me through some hard times in my life but more importantly she has been there for me at the most exciting times. We have witnessed each other be proposed to by our soul mates and ironically, I was her maid of honor at her wedding. Emily will always be my best friend and I know I can always count on her.
Kendra Plummer
Kendra Plummer - Bridesmaid
I actually knew Kendra before ever meeting Matthew. Back in 2014, our mutual bestie, Onumara, organized a girls trip to Caribana in Toronto, Canada where both Kendra and I attended. We were at a pool party, when it started to downpour and some pretty big pieces of hail were coming down. Our group ran for cover and Kendra and I were separated from them. I remember the two of us could not stop laughing at what had just occurred. Her laugh is just as big as mine. When we’re at family events together I swear the two of us can giggle all day long. I know the term is sister in-law but she’s just my sister, period.
Onumara Opara Edoba
Onumara Opara Edoba - Bridesmaid
I first met Onumara at our welcome house BBQ as freshmen in high school in 2005. From then on we found our mutual love for sports and music. Onumara was always there to greet me with a huge hug and smile. She really helped me spread my wings and is someone I truly admire. I am so happy that she continues to be in my life, celebrating our amazing moments. I look forward to more memories to come.
Katie Lynch
Katie Lynch - Bridesmaid
My Catherine, my dear BFF. You may have been friends with Matt since middle school but I remember our first encounter. Matt and I were on our first date back in 2015 and we ended up at Cask n’ flagon in Fenway. Matt was talking to some of his friends when I noticed a girl in the group. We both looked at each other, immediately laughed, and introduced ourselves to each other. Little did we know we’d end up being such great friends. Katie is my spitball of fire, I’ve had so much fun with her and we have the best talks! I can count on Katie for anything and everything. You may have known Matt longer, but you will always be my BFF.
Rebecca Miranda Ray
Rebecca Miranda Ray - Bridesmaid
I have been blessed with getting to know Rebecca over the years meeting her through her now husband Roy who also happens to be Matthews’s Best Man. Rebecca is literally a breath of fresh air. Our friendship blossomed during the pandemic where we found comfort in each other during some pretty difficult times. In the short amount of time knowing each other we had gone through big moves, career changes, vacations together, the list goes on. It feels like I’ve known her all my life and at this point I can’t imagine my life without her friendship.
Roy Ray III
Roy Ray III - Best Man
A lifelong friendship is easy when you have a person as supportive as Roy. This friendship really must be lifelong, since I don't remember meeting Roy. We've been causing havoc since my earliest memories. I will always enjoy the phone calls that feel like they can go on for hours. The permanent life of the party (when he isn't napping lol) there aren't many people that will uplift you like Roy will.
Ryan Smith
Ryan Smith - Best Man
From the Friday Night Lights to the Sideline Stories, watching you accomplish your goals has inspired me to go after my own. You became the resident doctor of the group. Of all the groomsmen our friendship spans the least amount of time, at only 20 years. Competing in sports is what formed this bond. Many hours were spent together on the basketball courts and football fields. From our first J. Cole concert until we're in our Off-Season, keep on dancing my brother...even if it's off beat.
Michael Clarke
Michael Clarke - Groomsman
The Commissioner -- Only a year separates Michael and me. We went from running through the church to running through airports , thank God we made that flight. The sleepovers spent playing guitar hero turned into us attending a ridiculous amount of concerts...16 and counting. One of the most calculated people I know. He is the reason that our travel plans make it out of the group chat and come to fruition. Although he may not always be in close proximity, he is always there when needed.
Andrew Clarke
Andrew Clarke - Groomsman
A person that is full of life, energy, and creativity. Maybe that is why we have found ourselves at so many festivals over the years. A walking vibe!! One of the more swaggy members of the groom's party. Your style and energy are unmatched and you're always down for a good time. Watching the progression has been amazing. You keep me up to date with music and shows, as well as teaching me things about my iphone I would never have known lol. Too many memories to count but one thing I can count on is that we will make plenty more.
Sean Daly
Sean Daly - Groomsman
Our friendship has been the most interesting. We grew up in the church together but lost contact around the college time. The common theme of music brought us back together as we reconnected at a concert. We then discovered that we were living less than ten minutes from each other and our friendship has continued on ever since. He practically lived at our house during the pandemic and we passed many days just sitting on the stoop. The countless Kanye & Drake arguments, basketball conversations and freestyle sessions are what got me through. You're a teacher to your students and at times a teacher to me.
