Q + A

Are the events outside?

All of our events are outside. The average temperature in Temecula around that time is in mid-70s Fahrenheit. It can drop down to 60s at night, so please bring a light jacket or shawl and prepare accordingly.

What is a Sangeet?

Sangeet translates to "sung together" or "music." It is a celebration before the wedding mainly with dancing and a night of music. We invite you to mingle and dance the night away.

What is a Baraat?

A Baraat is the groom's procession into the wedding ceremony. Traditionally, the groom's side dances and sings while making their way to the venue, and are welcomed to the bride's side. However, since we all will be family anyways, we invite and welcome all guests regardless of which side to watch and/or dance in the Baraat.

How many outfits do I need?

Bring 3 different outfits:  Friday Night - Sangeet (Indian or Semi-Formal), Saturday Morning - Wedding (Indian Formal), Saturday Night - Reception (Indian or Black Tie Formal)

Are there any restrictions on colors or styles?

We have no restrictions on any colors or styles. You are free to wear any colors!

Can I wear an Indian Outfit?

Yes, absolutely! We encourage you to wear Indian!

Where do you find Indian outfits?

Etsy and online stores are probably your best bet for finding a good deal. Outfits are roughly $50 - $80 (please don’t spend hundreds of dollars on an Indian outfit).  Ladies, Look at “Lenghas” or "ready-made sarees." For men, you can look at “Sherwanis” or “Kurta Pajama."
