Vashon Island is located in the Puget Sound, just south of downtown Seattle. One Ferry terminal is located in Fauntleroy West Seattle and the other is located in Pt. Defiance, Tacoma. If traveling from downtown Seattle, the drive to the Fauntleroy dock is approximately 20 minutes and the ferry ride an additional 20 minutes. If traveling from Tacoma, expect a 20 minute drive to the Pt. Defiance Ferry Terminal and an additional 15 minute ferry ride. This route requires a 25 minute long drive to the north of the island.

The property is nestled in the woods and is a roughly 5 minute drive from the Vashon Ferry Dock on the north end of the island.

Walking to the property from the ferry is NOT ADVISABLE. If you have not been to Vashon via the north end ferry, your are immediately met with a HUGE hill. If you are walking on the ferry, please plan your travel to and from the venue accordingly.

The property is tucked away in the woods and will have plenty of parking just down the road on a gravel driveway. There will be signs signaling to park alongside the trees.

Semi Formal-leaning attire. Feel free to enjoy colors, patterns, garden florals, and classic European styles. We’re combining our Mexican and Italian roots for one romantic night. *A note on shoes/heels: Please wear a chunkier heel, platform or flats if you are wearing heels. The ground is made of grass and earth with a gravel portion. We want you to feel comfortable in your footwear!

We are providing an elevated Mexican wedding buffet full of gluten free, vegan, vegetarian & pescatarian options.

Hopefully late into the night, just as they do in Italy and Mexico. We plan to have the first dance and dessert portion of the evening from 8:30-10:30pm, with a special “late night” after party. This part of the evening is for the late dwellers, and will likely last until midnight.🌙

The toddlers and babies of our best friends will be in attendance. Animals are not permitted on the property during the evening of the ceremony.

Staying on Vashon Island is recommended. However, if your plans necessitate staying in West Seattle or elsewhere, note that ferry wait times on Sat, August 24th, may be quite long, both on island and off. When planning your arrival & departure, we recommend being in line 2 or 3 sailings prior to your chosen scheduled departure.

There will be no shuttle services provided before or after the wedding. Please plan accordingly and be safe.

No. Vashon Island does not have any car share platforms.

King County Metro does run regularly scheduled routes along the main highway. Please note, this method of transport is NOT ADVISABLE and will only get you half way to the venue.

No, the Vashon/Fauntleroy/Southworth Ferry does not require a reservation. Please give yourself adequate time to get in line, as wait times on the weekends during summer sailings can be quite long. We recommend being in line at least 2-3 sailings prior to the chosen departure.
