Attire is a step down from formal. For men, this means suits/shirts, but no tie required (and given the late-August heat, a jacket is likely going to be a bit warm anyways). For women, longer dresses/jumpsuits/pants - whatever suits your fancy (no pun intended).
I don't want to match the wedding party on accident - what are y'all wearing?
The bridesmaids will be in various shades of green floor-length dresses; groomsmen in light gray. Don't worry about matching - but if you're so inclined, we would love to see a mix of colors so feel free to wear whatever you feel best in! Except white. Maybe avoid white.
Will the ceremony/cocktail hour/reception be indoors or outdoors?
Ceremony - outdoors. Cocktail hour - in-between. Reception - in-between. By in-between, we mean the reception hall is open air (with fans, don't worry) but we encourage guests to circulate in and out.
What's parking like?
There is a lot attached to the venue that will have an attendant helping day of. If you need to leave your car overnight, you have until 10am 09/01 to pick it back up :)
What does dinner look like?
We will serve light hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour, followed by a meal and dessert during the reception. If you have dietary restrictions, please note those in your RSVP.
What about dessert?
Cake! It is a wedding, after all.
We'll also be serving Jenni's ice cream as a nod to our first date.
Will there be an open bar?
Yes, there will be an open bar! However - please note that we have decided to go liquor-free for our celebrations. We will be serving assorted beers (including those on tap from Trader's Brewing), seltzers, wine, bubbly, etc., as well as plenty of non-alcoholic options.
Do I get a plus-one?
If your formal invitation includes a plus-one, yes - please include their name in your RSVP. Unfortunately, due to space restraints, we cannot extend any additional plus-ones.
Can I bring my kids?
Due to space and safety constraints at the venue, we are only able to extend an invitation to those included on the RSVP page.
