Downtown Zionsville is home to the beautiful & historic Brick Street - the original road into town, built out on either side as more people flocked to Zionsville.
Downtown has lots of shops and restaurants (and one of the recommended lodging spots, The Brick Street Inn) - some personal recommendations include:
Rosie's Place (breakfast, brunch, lunch)
Convivio Italian (scrumptious)
Cobblestone Grill (great burgers)
and just a short jaunt down the road (roughly 3 miles from the end of the Brick Street) lies Indiana's best:
Trader's Brewing Company - founded in 2018 by Annie's family, pouring up great brews, good conversation, and occasionally, live music.
If you don't have a chance to stop by - no worries - we'll be serving Trader's on the big day :)
Downtown Indianapolis is about 20 minutes from Zionsville and offers things to do that aren't just shopping and dining:
Indianapolis Children's Museum (awesome)
Indianapolis Canal Walk (awesome)
Monument Circle (awesome)
Newfield's Art Museum (awesome)
Axe-Throwing @ Bad Axe (awesome)
The Pickled Peddler (awesome)
Minor League Baseball @ Victory Field (awesome)
But there's plenty of other things if none of these catch your interest. Or maybe you're just here to see Noah & Annie get married (super awesome) - sounds great!
Zionsville is surrounded by quite a bit of new development, as well as existing country/farming land. Zionsville borders other suburbs (obviously) like Carmel, Westfield, Whitestown - all with their own fun quirks and sites.
Regardless of your plans in Zionsville, the Hockel family is happy to provide any recommendations for the area they call home.
Happy Hoosier-ing!
