John and Noreen spent their summers working at the Fire Island Ferries, but never knew each other until a mutual friend introduced us, (Thank you, Gerard!) on a ferry ride home. We went our separate ways after meeting, but then saw each other out at the final Margarita Madness before Noreen went back to college. We danced the night away and became inseparable from that night on. John asked Noreen to make it official the day after her birthday, 10/21/2018 right before Noreen was about to meet all of John’s Oneonta friends, (shout out toothpaste!). Fast forward to June 2023, we moved into our first apartment together and on 8/23/2024 John got down on one knee at our most favorite spot to watch the Sunset in Fire Island

Meet Ashley, my childhood best friend and Maid of Honor. We’ve been inseparable since we were kids, bonding over countless soccer games and probably spending more hours in the car together than we’d like to admit. From shared laughs to unforgettable memories, Ashley has always been there by my side, and I’m so lucky to have her standing with me as I say "I do." Here’s to a lifetime of more adventures together!

Alex and I go way back to our college days, where we quickly became friends  by being forced to be roommates, which turned into three unforgettable years. Between late-night study sessions, spontaneous road trips, and more inside jokes than I can count, Alex became more than just a roommate—he’s been like a brother. He’s loyal, hilarious, and someone you can always count on to lighten the mood (or dominate the dance floor).

Meet Leah, one of my incredible bridesmaids and college roommate. From late-night study sessions to volunteering at the senior center, we’ve shared so many special moments. One of our favorite past times was coming up with crazy dance moves to hype up our teammates in the locker room before big games. Leah has always been a source of joy, laughter, and support, and I’m so grateful to have her standing by my side on this special day!

Over the years, our friendship has grown through countless shared experiences, with camping trips quickly becoming a tradition. Whether we’re setting up tents in the rain, telling stories by the fire, or just enjoying the quiet out in nature. He’s the kind of friend who shows up, no matter what. Steady, easygoing, and always ready with a good story (or a terrible pun), I’m grateful to have him standing by my side on this big day

Meet Tiffany, a bridesmaid who I met while playing soccer at Pace. From the moment we met, we had no choice but to be attached at the hip. We ended up with every class together, and spent our days following each other around campus. Whether it was soccer practice or study sessions, Tiffany was always there by my side, and I’m so thankful for our amazing friendship.

Josh and I have been friends since high school, and over the years, he’s become one of the most loyal and driven people I know.  Josh has always had a semi-sharp mind and an even sharper sense of humor—so it’s no surprise he became a lawyer. Whether we were goofing around as teenagers or talking about real-life stuff as adults, he’s always been the kind of friend who brings both laughter and wisdom to the table.  Having Josh by my side for this next chapter means a lot, and I’m lucky to call him a friend (and fortunate he’s not billing me by the minute for being here).

Meet Morgan, one of my closest friends and bridesmaids. I knew we were meant to be best friends the moment I told her our dorm room stunk because of her goalie gloves—without even knowing her for 24 hours! From that moment on, we shared countless memories on the soccer field and throughout our time in school. Morgan’s been a constant source of laughter, support, and adventure, and I’m so grateful to have her by my side on this special day.

Peter and I met in college under slightly weird circumstances—he was actually my RA. Somehow, despite (or maybe because of) that, we became good friends and have stayed close ever since.

He's always been the calm, collected one in the group... which is probably why they trusted him with a master key.

Meet Rachel, one of my amazing bridesmaids! We first met working at the water taxi over the summers, and since then, I’ve somehow bullied her into taking all of my Orangetheory classes (and she’s still speaking to me, so that’s a win!). Rachel can make anyone smile and is truly one of the kindest, most genuine people you’ll ever meet. I’m so lucky to have her in my life and standing by my side today!

Gerard and I have been friends since high school, where we ran track together—though if you ask him, he probably won every race, (which he did).

These days, he’s a police officer, which is kind of ironic considering he has a long, well-documented history of cheating in every game we’ve ever played. Cards, board games, trivia—you name it, he’s found a way to “bend the rules.”

Despite his questionable game-day ethics, Gerard’s been a solid friend for years, and I’m glad he’s part of the lineup for the big day. Just keep an eye on him if there’s a groomsmen game night.

Meet Emily, one of my bridesmaids who I’m lucky to have met just within the past year. It’s hard to believe because since the moment we crossed paths, we’ve become inseparable! Whether we’re running half marathons on a whim, coaching at Orangetheory together, or enjoying a wine walk around the neighborhood, there’s never a dull moment with her. Emily can strike up a conversation with just about anyone she meets and leave them smiling. I’m so thankful for her friendship and excited to have her by my side on this special day!

Meet Sarah, one of my wonderful bridesmaids! We first met at our "big girl job" in NYC, where we were training together from day one. We bonded over the shared misery of our brutal commutes, and that was just the beginning of our friendship. As we both moved on to new roles, we stayed in touch and grew even closer, especially after we both left that job behind. Now, you can find us out dancing to some country music in the corner together and making memories that I’ll cherish forever.

I actually met JP before Noreen and I started dating, during an attempt to bike to Montauk. We got as far as Hampton Bays before JP’s bike got a flat tire, and we ended up stranded for a bit. Despite that, we had a blast working on the ferry together and shared a lot of good times.

I’m excited to officially be joining the family and looking forward to many more memories with JP!
