Let me set the scene for you. Imagine a world where everyone looked at their phones, dating in your 30’s was a nightmare between poor communication habits, working to pay your bills, and ghosting. Meeting a potential partner through friends or family was almost non existent. Then (cue scary music) add a WORLDWIDE pandemic with societal trauma where people were locked in their houses for the better part of the year in total survival mode. The rates of depression, alcoholism and verge of divorces all increasing. But don’t worry those of us considered essential workers soldiered on and continued to work through and survive the best we can as a human race.
Yeah, the year was 2020, and despite all of this Octavio and Elizabeth met through their good friend Hinge (dating app designed to be deleted). The dating journey wasn’t seamless but it allowed us to work through adversity and choose love over fear. Long story short the guy found the girl, he fought for the girl. Girl found love with a guy who wanted to choose each other everyday.
