Is there a dress code?
The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/formal. We ask that you try to wear dark winter colors like black, navy, greens, dark reds, blues, gold, and silver. We ask that guests refrain from wearing denim, and ladies please refrain from wearing white or cream. Also note that South Carolina's weather can be very unpredictable, we suggest checking the weather daily leading up to the event so you can be most prepared.
We want everyone to feel comfortable and look their best, think of this as a time to have fun and dress up! :)
What date should I RSVP by?
Once you receive your invitation, please RSVP by November 10, 2024. This is to ensure that we can provide our vendors with an accurate headcount and ensure that everyone has a wonderful experience. You will scan the QR code that will be sent with your invitation in the mail. Thank you for your understanding and prompt response, we cannot wait to see you on our big day!
What should I do if I can't make it?
You will be missed! As we prepare for the wedding, we kindly request that you let us know as soon as possible by using the RSVP section in responding that you cannot attend. We understand that unexpected events can happen, but by letting us know in advance, we can make necessary adjustments to our plans.
Can I bring a guest?
If your guest name is listed on your invite, or you have a plus one option listed when you RSVP, then yes! Otherwise, we would love to keep the wedding as intimate as possible with close friends and family. Those who are invited will have their name listed on the invitation.
Can I bring my children?
As we finalize our guest list, we wanted to let you know that we have decided to have young adults and adults only at our wedding, with the exception of children who are already listed on your invitation. We hope you can understand that we would like to create a sophisticated and fun atmosphere for all of our guests. We realize that this may impact your plans, and we want to make sure you have plenty of time to arrange for child care.
We hope that you will still be able to join us for this special day, and we look forward to celebrating with you. Thank you for understanding, please let us know if you have any questions or concerns!
Where are the closest hotels to the venue?
The closest hotels to the venue are located in and around Anderson, SC. This is a short 20-30min drive away. We also highly recommend staying in Downtown, Greenville if you wanted to explore a new city while you're visiting! Downtown Greenville is about 1 hour from the wedding venue. There are also some good options on Airbnb and Vrbo for the Anderson and Greenville area. Please refer to the travel tab on our website for more information!
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
We wanted to let you know that the reception will be held indoors, while the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside, weather dependant. We are hopeful for beautiful weather, but please be aware that if conditions do not permit an outdoor ceremony or cocktail hour, we will move them indoors to ensure everyone's comfort and safety.
When should I arrive by?
We kindly request that you arrive at 3:00pm for our 3:30pm ceremony. This ensures that everyone will be seated by the time that the ceremony begins. Due to the holidays, traffic might be increased so please plan accordingly with your travel times. If you will be arriving close to the start of the ceremony, we ask that you will find a seat near the back. We can't wait to see you there!!
