It was January of 2019, a cold rainy evening. We met at Guisborough's finest bar, The monk. After a few hours of chatting by the open fire, in the traditional Kent manner, Olivia suggested we moved on to Wetherspoons. She's a classy lady. Thus the love story began.

We climbed Helvellyn back in March 2019 on our first getaway together. Then back up in June 2022 where Ian proposed. Unfortunately there were no pictures taken from the engagement due to being stuck in the worst hurricane weather known to descend on the Lake District, accompanied with Covid. The greatest achievements from that day was that not only Olivia said Yes! but that we made it back down alive.
