For guests staying in Saltburn; Rapps cafe or Tomahawk steakhouse (best views) are recommended. For guests staying in Guisborough; Koselig Danish bakery or Sundays coffee are recommended.
There is limited free parking at the church (Church Square car park, TS14 6BX, free Sundays) on a first come first served basis.
There is free disk parking along the length of Guisborough high street.
There is a free car park with ample parking at Walkers Row (free Sat and Sun). Sat Nav - TS14 6HP. This is a 0.2 mile (4 min) walk to the church
The Monk pub is special to Olivia and Ian as the location of their first date (and many anniversaries and pub quizzes since). The Monk have agreed to open specially from 11AM as a private function for any guests who wish to have a drink before the service.
Ian and his groomsmen will be in the bar from 11:00 - 12:00 and anyone arriving early to Guisborough is invited to join them.
The pub is located almost opposite the church (TS14 6HG)
St Nicholas Church is in front of Prior Pursglove College (originally the 1561 Pursglove School and from 1880 Guisborough grammar school). This was the 6th form college attended by the bride and groom and the neighbouring church was known to both from college events during their time there.
The vicar has requested that guests arrive in good time and make their way into the church between 12:00 - 12:15.

The church service begins at 12:30 and it is expected to last up to 45 mins.
Toilet facilities are available within the church if required.
The church is next to the ruins of Guisborough Priory. This Augustinian (no, me neither) priory was built be the Bruce family (ancestors of Robert the Bruce, King of Scotland) who are buried in the church.
The bride and groom will go into the Priory grounds with the wedding photographer to have some photos taken of the happy couple.
It is free entry and guests are welcome to join them to explore the Priory grounds, grab some bakery lunch in Guisborough or head straight over to the wedding venue (a 10min drive) where guests are expected from 13:30 onwards.
Please note Rushpool Hall is a cashless venue and any purchases from the bar will require a card.
Arrival drinks and canape's will be available for guests from ~13:45
The wedding co-ordinator will invite guests to join her inside briefly to welcome and toast the bride and groom.
Between 14:00 and 15:45 guests can enjoy the bar, grounds and venue whilst group photos are taken in the grounds.
Ice creams will be served from a local Gelato shop and a caricaturist will circulate amongst the guests.
The wedding breakfast will be served from 15:45.
Speeches will follow the starters at 16:00
Evening guests are welcome to arrive from 19:30
Guests are asked to join the bride and groom for the ceremonial cake cutting. This will be immediately followed by the first dance and the first set from the band.
Cheese burgers, Sausage and Bacon sandwiches will be served at 21:00.
There are gluten free and vegan options. These are based on the numbers of GF, Vegetarian and Vegan guests attending so please leave these for guests with those requirements. Thank you.
The bar closes and the DJ finishes at 23:30. Guests are welcome to finish their drinks in the bar and reception rooms but the venue asks that guests leave or retire to their rooms by midnight.
If organising taxis or lifts home please book these for midnight at the latest.
Due to the difficulties of getting taxis in Saltburn on a bank holiday evening, pre-booking taxis is recommended. Ace Taxis of Brotton (01287 203655) and Red-Car Taxis of Redcar (01642 470470) are now the same company. They are routinely used by the bride and groom and have the best coverage of the local area.
