In April 2020, Olivia and Blake met in the lobby of Culver's. Olivia had just moved to North Dakota and had an interview at Culver's. She walked into Culver's and saw Blake. Even with a mask on, she knew he was cute! He had light blue eyes and curly hair and was very nice. He let her know that they would not be able to do her interview that day. Blake rescheduled her interview to a later date due to being short staffed. Blake really hoped she would show up for the newly rescheduled interview! Fortunately she did! From there Olivia was hired at Culver's and that's where our story takes off!

Working together they realized they had common interests, mostly sports and tv shows. One time Blake was helping close and Olivia was doing dishes, Blake brought up some baseball topics and Olivia got so into the conversation she stopped working completely to respond back. Blake thought it was cute but also thought "It's gonna be a long night of closing the restaurant." Sometimes when Olivia was working on front line, she would hear Blake laughing with some people in the kitchen. Olivia can't help but smile when she hears Blake's laugh, she loves it. Soon after, Olivia started messaging Blake on Snapchat. So, you could say she made the first move and chased Blake :) She felt like she had to make the first move because he was her boss :) They had their first date at Blake's apartment and watched "Rookie of the Year" and SNL clips.

From there, they eventually moved in together roughly a year later. Soon after that they adopted Bailey, their dog and first pet together! Then about a year later they adopted Lena, their cat and second pet together!

Fast forward to February of 2023. They were on a trip to Orlando and visiting Disney World. Blake had the idea to ask Olivia to marry him. He flew in last out of the group and they decided to go to Epcot and walk around. Blake had no plan of when or how to propose to Olivia. He just knew he had to make the most out of the opportunity when it came up. Disney security almost blew the surprise as Blake went off as he went thru the metal detector and had to move to the side and empty his pockets. Fortunately, Olivia and family were far enough away and chatting to each other that they didn't notice the little white box that Blake had to take out of his pocket. Blake kept repeating that he wanted to see the firework show. (Tommy wanted to go on the Ratatouille ride, which unbeknownst to him would have ruined the whole plan. Lol) Luckily, they went to the fireworks show. Olivia told Blake there is a cute spot for them to sit in the France Village. It was a nice peaceful spot with very few people around to distract them. Everything was coming together perfectly. Once they sat down, Blake waited about a minute and then got down on one knee and told Olivia he loves her and asked her to marry him! Lucky for him she said Yes! and that's how we have gotten here so far! We hope everyone can come and enjoy our day together!
