The Pop Century Resort is considered a value resort. It was built in 2003 and was last renovated in 2018. It has plenty of amenities, including a cafeteria area for meals, snacks and drinks. There is an arcade area in the resort for anyone with some down time as well as three outdoor pools, ping pong and other game activities throughout the resort. It is located directly next to the skyliner for easy and free transportation to our wedding, Epcot and other Disney resorts/restaurants. There is also free bus transportation to Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, Disney Springs, and other Disney Resorts. This is the most value for your Disney experience!
The Caribbean Beach Resort is a moderate resort. It was built in 1988 and last renovated in 2019 and 2023. It is located near the skyliner for easy and free transportation to Epcot, Pop Century, Art of Animation, and our Wedding venue.
The Beach Club Resort is a deluxe resort. It was built in 1990 and was last renovated in 2016. It also is accessible to the skyliner for easy transportation to the Pop Century, the Art of Animation, and the Caribbean Beach Resort. It is in walking distance to Epcot and our wedding venue! There is a great ice cream parlor near the lobby called Beaches and Cream, where we went right after we got engaged! You have to get the kitchen sink!
Disney's Skyliner is a fun, comfortable, and easy way to travel to and from the resorts and parks. It stops at Epcot (which is the stop for our wedding venues: Disney's Boardwalk and Yacht & Beach Club Resorts), Hollywood Studios, the Caribbean Beach Resort, the Rivera Resort, the Art of Animation Resort, and the Pop Century Resort. Disney's Skyliner opened in 2019 as the newest and coolest transportation at Disney! We love the Skyliner!
The Disney Monorail and Bus transportation can help you go to and from many resorts and parks throughout Disney World. The Disney Monorail stops at the Polynesian Resort, the Grand Floridan Resort, Magic Kingdom, the Contemporary Resort, and the Transportation and Ticket Center (where you can transfer to another monorail to go to Epcot). Being on the monorail is magical and is its own awesome experience! While we are waiting for the monorail, my family likes to take turns guessing what color it will be! Disney's bus transportation is also fun, quick, and depending on where you are looking to go in Disney, it may be the only option for transportation. At every resort and park (including Disney Springs), bus transportation is offered. It is usually located at the front entrance at each place. Also all transportation provided by Disney is free. This includes bus transportation, the monorail, the skyliner, water taxi's, and ferry rides.
