It was trivia Tuesday in Milledgeville, and to no surprise my friends and I were outside while I argued with the trivia man over a tiebreak loss for a pitcher of beer. Michael had been back visiting some friends and as we stood there he came walking out of a bar. And again... to no surprise, he jumped into the conversation... he somehow in those few moments managed to set a golf date with my roommate, Scott. Every Thursday for the next few weeks Mike would come to visit friends, play his weekly round with Scott and I would do my best to be the cute girl riding in the cart... and the rest is history!

After months of dating came long distance for nearly the next two years while I earned my graduate degree. Though it was the toughest challenge we faced, it made us stronger and closer than ever. Michael made more of an effort than I could have ever dreamt, driving every few weekends to visit where he spent days being the big brother of the 5 girl household and enjoying our sweet but short moments together.

Months after moving back to Georgia and moving in together came the PROPOSAL. The dreamiest of days, filled with shock, a few happy tears, lots of family and friends, and so so much love!
