This is how most of Olivia and Josh's relationship has been: over the phone. They first met at a birthday party, but only briefly, as we were both timid, only saying Hi to one another. The two then saw each other again, line dancing a year later, where Josh was too scared to ask Olivia to dance with him. He then asked Olivia's high school best friend, Taylor, for her number, and the rest is history! Being 110 miles apart from one another may not sound ideal for a relationship, but the two have been able to make it work. From phone dates to Sonic to coffee to scenic drives, Josh and Olivia have made the most of their time together. Since they have not been able to knock on each other's doors, they have been so thankful to have FaceTime to get to see and talk to one another every day.

Olivia and Josh's first in-person date was a couple of days after Olivia said she would be Josh's girlfriend! He drove up from Knoxville, and they went to one of Olivia's favorite coffee shops, Opendoors, went putt-putt, and to Aubrey's for dinner.

Josh was the first to say, "I love you." Olivia and Josh were watching Top Gun on the couch after church one Sunday. Olivia kept trying to take a Sunday nap, but Josh kept nervously talking to her about the movie, and it was then that he looked at her and said those special three words, and she said them right back.

Some of Olivia and Josh's favorite dates together have been hiking on Buffalo Mountain (which they haven't been back because SOMEONE, Josh, made them get LOST on top of the mountain), several putt-putt competitions (Josh is 2-1), going to Lexington to watch UK v. UT play baseball (even though the Cats lost), trying coffee from different local coffee shops (so far, Coffee Company is their favorite), and their day trip to Disney’s Hollywood Studios (riding Tower of Terror at night was one of the coolest experiences)!

Olivia and Josh were on vacation with Olivia's family whenever she said "Yes!"

While waiting for everyone to finish getting dressed for dinner, Olivia watched this lady on the beach draw a huge heart in the sand and line it with seashells. She was so shocked whenever she saw that the lady move away from her beautiful work! After everyone was finally done getting ready, Olivia's mom decided she wanted to take pictures of everyone on the beach before dinner. Once they all got down to the beach, Josh asked Olivia if they wanted to have their picture taken first, and he led her to that same heart she had watched being drawn up from the balcony. He said some of the sweetest words and then got down on one knee!
