What am I allowed to wear?

We want everyone to wear what makes them feel comfortable and confident. However, we want everyone to participate in this special occasion and we request business casual. Men, wear a dress shirt, dress pants, etc. Women, please wear dresses, skirts, blouses, etc. In other words, if you wear it to church, wear it to our special day!

Will there be alcohol?

We want this day to be memorable for not only us, but everyone who is able to join this big day in our lives. We will not be serving alcohol and we ask that you all remember the reason behind this day. We ask that you do not bring your own alcoholic beverages or leave our special day to drink. Please wait until after you leave the facility for the night to enjoy your alcoholic beverages.

Where can I park?

There are several free public parking lots around downtown Johnson City. The closest to the venue are the Northeast Community College parking garage, the Founders Park Parking Lot, and the Cherry Street Public Parking Lot.

Can I bring a plus one?

We wish that we could fit all of our loved ones and more into the space for the wedding. However, due to the integrity of the building and the limit on the number of guests we are allowed, we will not be able to accommodate space for you to bring a date. If your guest name is listed on your invite or you have a plus one option listed when you RSVP, then yes! We understand that this may upset some of our guests, but we would still love for you to be a part of our day.

Do I need to RSVP?

Once official wedding invitations are sent out, you will RSVP for you and your party online on this website. If we do not receive your RSVP by the date we provide, it will be marked as "No." We will miss you celebrating with us. However, we have provided a guest count to the venue and vendors in a timely manner they have given us. Thank you for understanding.

What time do I need to arrive?

Our ceremony will start at 3pm sharp. The venue is on the second level of a public building and they will lock the elevators as soon as the ceremony starts to prevent interruptions. We ask that you arrive early enough so you can get a good seat and enjoy the entire ceremony with us.

Is this an unplugged ceremony?

We want everyone who is in attendance to be fully present and attentive during the ceremony. We will have the officiant allow one special time to snap a picture of the two of us before we ask everyone to please silence phones and put them away until we walk away as Mr. and Mrs. Scully.

Will there be food that is allergy-friendly?

Absolutely! As someone who is gluten-free, we will serve several food items and desserts that are gluten-free and dairy-free, as well as suitable for guests who are vegetarian.
