Hey, my name is Claudia, sister of the bride! I am so excited to be a part of Luke and Olivia's special day. I think I am the luckiest person in the world to be Olivia's younger sister. Even though I always had to be player 2 in Mario Kart, and never got to drive the mini Barbie Jeep when we were kids, growing up with her has been one of the greatest fortunes of my life. There's no one I've shared more laughs with and no one that I'm more proud to have in my life. When Luke started hanging around all those years ago, I was grateful that she found someone as kind, smart, funny, and loving as she is. Hi! my name is Ben Bustamante, Luke’s younger (slightly cooler) brother. Luke and I met May 23 2000 and since then we were fast friends. Whether it was family camping trips or hanging out with some of our many cousins, Luke and I have had many great times together. I’m happy to say that he’s not only my brother, but a loyal friend and confidant who’s always my first call whenever I need advice, perspective or just to talk about our latest mutual video game/tv show obsession. Hi I’m Jen, Olivia’s cousin who grew up in the house next door! We spent basically all of childhood walking across Nana’s lawn to watch movies, play outside, make up new games, and eat snacks. As we’ve grown up it’s turned into pickleball, more game nights, and baking dates, and I am so grateful to have such a thoughtful, supportive, funny, and sweet bonus sister. Hey there! I’m David, Luke's cousin and Olivia’s longtime friend. I went to Wayne State University at the same time Olivia earned her degree there. I lived a block away from Luke growing up. From birthday sleepovers that turned into all-night video game marathons fueled by candy and chaos, to our legendary Slurpee runs, we've had countless laughs and epic fun. Luke and I lived together for a year before I had to move out of state – probably my biggest regret ever (kidding… maybe). We are experts at keeping each other humble, all in good fun. If you need a laugh or a teammate for Halo, Luke’s your guy. If you need a hug, Olivia is a pro (and if you pull a hug out of Luke we need to talk). Hi, I’m Sam, Olivia’s older cousin by a month. By now, most of you have probably realized that we are actually related - which wasn’t the case in high school. I’d hear a lot about Olivia from people who didn’t know we were related. It was nice to hear all of the wonderful things people had to say about her. But of course, I already knew how kind, intelligent and thoughtful she was and I’m reminded of this every time we hangout and she makes me my favorite treats. Hello, my name is Nick Bustamante. I know you're probably thinking "Wow another Bustamante?!" Is he related?" Yup! You'd be correct! "Another cousin perhaps??!" You'd also be correct! I've known him as long as I can remember. His home's proximity to my home during our childhood (a.k.a. he was down the street) allowed for some of the fondest memories such as Nerf wars, snowball wars, Bionicle wars, Lego wars, airsoft wards, video game wars, and well I guess just a lot of military combat. Despite our constant engagement in battle, I knew that when it came down to an actual confrontation (something he somehow always finds himself involved in), he'd always have my back. He's been dependable since day one and its certainly a word I don't use lightly when describing someone. Hi, I'm Amanda! I am married to Olivia's oldest cousin Mike. As soon as I started dating Mike and he introduced me to the family, I quickly became part of the cousin game nights, gingerbread house competitions, family group chats, and intense toss across games! I have been a part of Olivia's life for some time now and as the original "extra" of the family I was so excited when Olivia started bringing Luke around. Not only did this mean that I had an "extras" buddy, but I got to see just how happy Olivia and Luke made each other. Hi, I’m Luke’s cousin and Stoops’ friend. I’ve known them both almost my entire life; Olivia and I were in the same grade and Luke lived right down the street. I have many fond childhood memories of Luke and I beating each other up with Nerf swords, and long evenings filled with liters of root beer at the Stoops’ house with Olivia and our high school friends. We were all in college attending games at the Big House when they started dating, and it was certainly a joyful (very expected and much anticipated) day when they were engaged. Hi, I’m Jess! Olivia and I were paired up as a clinical team over zoom during our first semester of COVID grad school. We went through the lows and the highs of our masters program together and we came out the other side as a pair of amazing SLPs! Even though we are no longer clinical partners, we are still amazing friends, and I am so excited to celebrate this new chapter alongside Olivia and Luke!

Hi, I’m Joe. You have probably already surmised that I am yet another one of the Bustamante Horde. Growing up put my house, Nick’s, and Luke’s as the points of the Michigan triumvirate, and Nick has already described many of the skirmishes therein, so instead I shall focus on Luke’s propensity for being himself. I think most people who just read that thought “well duh,” but I would argue that almost everyone else changes to fit in. Luke was always himself, and although quite opinionated with teachers in his youth, above all he is kind, reliable, funny, and adventurous. It was heartwarming then when he and Olivia got together because it was immediately obvious that they would work out. Olivia is, simply put, a wonderful person. Anything and everything that may make you think of her is almost certainly correct. I have had my whole life to know Luke and forge that unbreakable kinship, but with Olivia it feels like it took about 15 minutes. After even just these few years of Olivia and Luke being together, I cannot imagine our family without both. I am thrilled they found each other, as they have both become better people because of it.

Hi! My name is Jacqueline Bustamante! I'm Luke's younger sister! Being the first girl in the family means I was kind of like the test pilot. The older boys got to run the training with me before the younger ones came along. This, as you can imagine, led to many funny and wonderful memories with Luke. From tantrums to tickle fights, he has been there. He really stepped up when it came to taking care of my siblings and me, and if I needed him, he would come at the drop of a hat. I have to say that seeing him get to fulfill a big step in his life makes me truly happy. His fiancé, Olivia, has become a very close friend to me. Olivia and Luke make the best duo, and I couldn't think of a better match! Getting to know her has been an incredible blessing! I wish nothing but the absolute best for both of them! Hello, my name is Jacob Bustamante, and I am one of Luke's younger brothers. I was the youngest boy in the family for a while, which made me the unending source of ire (that's what Luke calls it, because he doesn't know entertainment when he sees it), and the involuntary target of whatever wrestling moves Luke found on YouTube. The two are connected, I'm sure. When Luke started really preparing for the rest of his life, through school, work, and dating the woman who would become his fiancé, our interactions lessened, right up until shortly before he moved out of the house. We found common ground in books, and the gap between us was bridged with his reading recommendation (Mistborn), late at night in the kitchen. It was there that I realized that my brother was more than the WWE terror of the household, or the undisputed champion of literally any video game that required competition: he was my brother. I have watched him grow with Olivia, grow a beard (not as good as mine, mind you), and grow into a man that is undoubtedly, unequivocally, and absolutely in love with his future wife, and ready for the rest of their life together.

Hi! I'm Maddie, Luke's youngest sister. I'm incredibly honored and excited to be a part of this beautiful wedding! Luke and I share many similarities from our sense of humor to our "sass." To me, Luke has always been third in command to mom and dad, whether I needed help with school or to kill a spider, but mostly because he always made the best decisions. Undoubtedly, his best decision has been marrying Olivia. I am so excited to call Olivia my sister, although, I feel like she already is. Hi! I’m Alex Bustamante. I am yet another Busto cousin of Luke’s. I grew up only a few blocks away from Luke and would ride my bike over regularly to play with him and his brother Ben. I moved away when I was 7 years old, and our regular hangouts turned into only seeing each other occasionally and on camping trips. I always looked forward to seeing Luke and his siblings for months ahead of those trips and we always had the most fun no matter how many months it had been since we’d last seen each other. We moved back to that same house a few blocks away when I was in high school, and it was like we had never been gone. He’s the kind of guy that would give you the shirt off his back and can always be counted on. I’m honored to be a part of Luke and Olivia’s big day and am super happy and excited for them!

Hello! I'm Gus! The youngest brother of the groom. For my whole life, Luke had always had my back, until one day I was driving in the car with my mom and she told me that Luke was moving out! I was so sad because I knew that I would miss making fun of Luke all the time, and I was worried that I wouldn't see him as much...although I only really ever saw him when he came upstairs from "studying"...playing video games. Once I realized, however, that I could have a place to go hangout with Luke and Olivia WITHOUT our parents, I was so excited! Since Luke moved out more than four years ago, I have done so many fun things with Luke and Olivia. We threw noodles at the wall to check if they were done, went putt putting and go kart racing, and of course watched Luke play his VERYY WIDE selection of video games. While all of that has been so cool, I am so excited to continue to be a part of all their life changing events! I love you guys with all my heart! P.S. I am going to drink ALL the Shirley Temples at the wedding!
