Invites
Due to limited venue capacity, we will keep our ceremony and dinner intimate. However, we want to celebrate with everyone on the dance floor! Separate invitations for the dance party will be sent to those we’d love to join us. Please check your invitations for specific details.
Gift
Instead of a traditional registry, we’ve set up two special funds to help us start this exciting chapter together: one for our future honeymoon and another to help us turn our new house into a home.
We’d love for you to contribute to one of these funds. There will also be a card box at the wedding for those who prefer bringing something in person. Your generosity and support mean so much to us as we begin this journey together!
General Wedding Details:
What is the date and time of the wedding?
The ceremony will begin at 4:00 PM and will be short and sweet. Afterward, we’ll head straight into cocktail hour followed by dinner at 5:30 PM. Once dinner wraps up, the dance and celebration will kick off (7:00 PM) and go into the night!
For Ceremony & Dinner Guests: What time should I arrive?
Please arrive a little before 4:00 PM to get seated before the ceremony. Ceremony will be followed by a cocktail hour and dinner at same location.
For Celebration Guests: What time should I arrive?
For those joining us for the celebration after dinner, the party will begin at 7 PM. Expect plenty of dancing, dessert, and a late-night snack to keep the fun going! We can’t wait to celebrate with you.
What is the dress code?
We want everyone to feel comfortable and look sharp! The dress code is semi-formal: For men, a suit or blazer with dress pants/dress shorts and a button-up shirt is perfect. Ties are optional, but please avoid jeans, hats, and sneakers. For women, think cocktail dresses or nice outfits that are dressy but don't need to be too formal—unless you'd like to! We just want everyone to look nice and feel good!
Travel and Accommodation:
What airports are closest?
There are three airports in the area: La Crosse Regional Airport (LSE) is approximately 45 minutes from the venue, Rochester International Airport (RST) is about a 1 hour and 45-minute drive, and Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) is roughly 3 hours away.
How do I get to the venue?
Winnebago Springs is located in the Winnebago Valley, just six miles south of Caledonia in southeastern Houston County, Minnesota. Look for our celebration signs as you make your way along the winding roads to the venue. To get there easily, just plug this address into your GPS: 19708 Camp Winnebago Rd, Caledonia, MN 55921. If you’re coming from major cities like Minneapolis or Sioux Falls, we can share directions and any tips for tricky roads to help you out!
What will the weather be like?
Typically, the weather in southern MN in June is warm and somewhat humid with temperatures averaging low to mid 80s.
Where should I book my accommodations?
The Driftless Area in Minnesota and Wisconsin has several charming small towns, including Spring Grove, Caledonia, and LaCrescent, where you can find cozy Airbnb rentals and a couple of hotel options. The Onalaska/La Crosse, WI area and Decorah, IA are also great choices, though a bit further out. Additionally, limited RV site rentals are available at the venue. For more details, check out our lodging page.
Will transportation be provided?
We’re not providing transportation, but we’ve made sure the venue is easy to get to, and there will be plenty of parking available. If you need help with carpooling or have any questions about getting there, feel free to reach out!
Day-of Questions:
Will alcohol be provided?
A cash bar will be available at the reception, but there are no rules against bringing your own alcohol to the venue! Feel free to bring your own drinks and keep them in your car if you’d like. The party will go all night long, so stock up ;)
