New Year's Eve, 2014. Mutual friends met up at "Dirty Larry's" (Pelican Larry's) in Naples, FL to celebrate ringing in the New Year. Adam and his brother Chris were having drinks when Paige and Breanna walked in. Adam asked Paige for a New Year's kiss at midnight, and the rest is history!
Adam and Paige began dating after the New Years kiss and quicky became best friends. They decided to move in together after developing love for one-another, and Paige a new love for Adams daughter Annabelle, only a short year after they met. They grew together and developed strong relationships with each other's family and friends over the years. Adam and Paige's adventures brought them to discover the small ski-town of Whitefish in Northwest Montana as a favorite travel destination in 2018 and have been visiting annually ever since.
Paige and Adam fell in love with Montana and its solitude, particularly Glacier National Park. They visit during Annabelles' Spring Break when the skiing is prime while enjoying the seasonal change. Adam knew this was the perfect time and place to ask for Paige's hand.
Adam told Annabelle about his proposal idea, and they quickly came up with the plan. When given the cue at Lake McDonald, Annabelle would take the photos as he knelt. So, with the help of his 10-year-old photographer, Adam got down on his knee and asked Paige to marry him at Glacier National Park, and she said yes! Annabelle nailed it with the iPhone. But strange enough, the only other visitor that day was a wedding photographer taking pictures of her family. The photographer quickly realized what was happening and captured their entire engagement! Paige still thinks this was planned; it was not.
Woof.
There's a lot of work that goes into a wedding. There's a lot of work that goes into a destination wedding! A destination wedding 3,000 miles away where none of your guests have ever been, can't meet vendors, 2-hour time difference... you get it.
That said, Paige and Adam dedicated almost every Saturday morning planning the details of their wedding with the help of mimosas. Every Saturday morning after breakfast, they would gather their vendor folders, notes, laptop, and prosecco to hammer out the details.
They found the planning process to be challenging yet fun. Serious yet silly. And STILL planning! Check back as they are constantly adjusting and updating details! Yes, they wrote all this in 3rd person.
