Shreveport is a small place but there are a few different things you can do with some being kid friendly! Located downtown are two favorites: The Shreveport Aquarium and Sci-Port Discovery Center. Right across the Shreveport-Bossier bridge on the Bossier side, there is the Boardwalk with shops and restaurants and there are casinos on the river with restaurants located inside. For those that like art, there is the R.W Norton Art Gallery in Shreveport that has a pretty garden trail and tons of art inside.
