Aidan and Paige met in September of 2019 in Shreveport, thanks to Aidan’s billet family. Aidan played hockey for the Shreveport Mudbugs and Paige babysat for the family that he began living with. Zach and Jordan Choate loved Paige as their own and their number one rule in their house was that you couldn't date the babysitter! Their love story quickly began in November (thanks to his roommate, Sam, for giving him a little nudge) and they have been inseparable ever since. They have two dogs and three ducks and have traveled all over the world together. They now reside in Connecticut but soon will be moving back down to Louisiana. Who would have thought that a boy from California would marry a southern gal from Louisiana and want to live there?We wouldn’t trade this life for a thing and we cannot wait for more memories with each other and with our crazy zoo! We will be forever thankful God chose our paths to cross 4 years ago and well, rules are meant to be broken right?

Shreveport is a small place but there are a few different things you can do with some being kid friendly! Located downtown are two favorites: The Shreveport Aquarium and Sci-Port Discovery Center. Right across the Shreveport-Bossier bridge on the Bossier side, there is the Boardwalk with shops and restaurants and there are casinos on the river with restaurants located inside. For those that like art, there is the R.W Norton Art Gallery in Shreveport that has a pretty garden trail and tons of art inside.
