Q + A

Is there a dress code?

We kindly request our V.I.G.s (Very Important Guests--that's you!) to wear shades of natural or neutral colors (blush, taupe, black, etc.) if they are available to you.

Where should we park for the ceremony?

Please allow church parking to be reserved for designated bridal party only. There will be parking at Massac County High School, 2841 Old Marion Rd., Metropolis, IL in the athletic parking lot (beside the white poll barn) to the left of the school. There will be two individuals shuttling guests from the school to the church so that guests will not have to walk on the road. Van shuttling will begin at 3:10 PM, fifty minutes prior to the ceremony and will cease at 3:50 PM, ten minutes before the start of the ceremony. After Aaron and Paige's ceremony exit, vans will shuttle guests back to their vehicles.

Will there be a bride and groom send-off?

Instead of having a send-off at the end of the night, the bride and groom will have flower petals ready for guests to throw at the couple's exit coming out of the church after the ceremony. The bride and groom kindly ask that guests clear out of the church foyer and line up on either side of the walkway out of the church. The bride and groom will exit once all guests have lined up.

Where should we park for the reception?

Parking will be available for guests in the side parking lot of Walker Hall. There is additional parking behind Walker Hall on the opposite side of the floodwall. Please reserve street parking beside of and in front of the venue for the wedding party.

What are we having for dinner?

Barbeque sandwiches and fried chicken will be served as the main dishes. Sides include cheesy garlic mashed potatoes, mac and cheese (we love cheese), asparagus, and rolls. Water and tea will be offered. Alcohol will not be available, and the reception venue does not permit guests to bring in outside alcoholic beverages.

When will the bride and groom get to the reception?

Guests are encouraged to make their way to Walker Hall directly after the bride and groom's exit from the church. Once guests enter the reception hall, they will be welcome to begin dining. Aaron and Paige will stay at the ceremony venue to take pictures together and with immediate family members before making their way to the reception venue to dine with guests.

Where is the bride and groom's registry?

Paige and Aaron's registry can be found under the "Registry" tab on this website. Gifts from Amazon and Target can be found grouped together at the beginning of the registry tab, and if you scroll to the bottom, a link to the couple's Walmart registry can also be found. The couple is in need of tools, bedding, kitchen items, and bathroom items. The couple would also appreciate gift cards to home décor or home improvement stores as well as restaurants and grocery stores. Aaron and Paige would also be grateful for cash to support their honeymoon fund and home/grocery fund.
