Things to Do

Eats and Drinks

Broussard's Cajun Cuisine

Broussard's Cajun Cuisine restaurant is the groom's favorite restaurant in Downtown Paducah. If you're hungry for a large seafood plate and Cajun spices, this is a great local place to go! The groom's favorite dish is the alligator bites and Cajun fries. The bride has also never tasted a bread pudding as good as Broussard's. The restaurant is about 2 minutes away from the reception venue.

Fun fact! The bride and groom went here on their second date and also after their engagement photos.

Artisan Kitchen

Located in Midtown Paducah, this is the bride's favorite local restaurant. She and her grandma come here often to sit down, talk a while, and have their house-made Mojito tea and Greek pasta salad. The bride gets Artisan Kitchen's Gyro (but she loves to consider their specials), and her grandmother often gets their Southwest Turkey Club.

They also have delicious pastries. The bride loves their Black Forest bars the best.

(Another delicious sandwich shop/bakery is Kirchhoff's Bakery and Deli--the Grandpa's Black Philly is heavenly.)

Swirls

Swirl's Frozen Yogurt is the groom's favorite dessert place in Paducah. The bride and groom make a trip here often for a quick, customized dessert after meals or events. The groom's favorite flavor is the Birthday Cake/Cake Batter mix.

Fun fact! The bride and groom went here on their first date and made a trip here after their engagement photos.

Pipers

The bride's favorite drink stop in Paducah is located in Midtown Paducah. Pipers has countless seasonal drinks that change every year, and because of that, the bride has tried around forty different drinks at Pipers throughout the many years she has been a visitor. One of her favorite "usual" drinks is a hot Red Grey Latte. During the spring and summer months, the bride suggests anything with a homemade syrup and tonic. They also sell Kirchhoff's pastries, so visit in the morning for multiple options.

Pipers is located inside the old Coca-Cola plant. They have a secondary location at the Pipers Lab (where they concoct their local creations), and they recently opened a third location in St. Louis (which is just as authentic as the original).

The bride likes to go to Pipers to journal, draw, read, visit with friends, and relax.
