We are so excited that you'll be joining us for our wedding!
We have reserved a room block at the Best Western Plus in Ticonderoga, which is approximately 3 miles from our ceremony and reception location. There are a few other options for guests looking for rustic camping, or lakeside resort accommodations, which we have provided more information about below. Please note that Ubers/taxis can be hard to come by in this area, so we will be providing transportation from the Best Western Plus, Trout House Village Resort, and Brookwood RV Resort. We recommend booking early as summertime in this area can be a popular time for vacations.

Important Travel Notice: If you are driving to Ticonderoga from the south, you will be passing by the city of Saratoga Springs, which is hosting the Belmont Stakes from June 6th-9th. This is the third leg of the Triple Crown and the city is preparing for an influx of 50,000 people during the race. Please plan accordingly and give yourself extra time, as traffic on 1-87 N (the Adirondack Northway) will be likely be impacted.

For your convenience, a block of rooms has been reserved at the Best Western Plus in Ticonderoga. When calling to make your reservation, please mention the Olscamp/Jonas wedding in order to receive a discounted rate and note that there is a two-night minimum for these rooms. You must call to reserve a room in the room block, and be sure to book your hotel room by April 26, 2024 in order to receive the discount.
A shuttle will be provided to and from the Barn at Lord Howe Valley for guests staying at this location.

Getting Here
There are a few ways to get to the Ticonderoga area, whether you come by car, bus, or plane. We hope the information below helps plan your travel to the Adirondacks!
FOR GUESTS TRAVELING VIA PLANE OR TRAIN:
Your first option is to fly into the Albany International Airport, which is just over 1.5 hours from Ticonderoga. From there, you can rent a car or take public transportation up to the Adirondacks.
Another option is to fly into the Burlington International Airport, located near Burlington, Vermont. This is approximately 1.25 hours from Ticonderoga and makes for a beautiful drive into the region.
For those looking to take public transportation, there is an Amtrak Station in Albany, as well as in the heart of Ticonderoga, which is only a 5 minute drive to the Best Western Plus.
FOR GUESTS TRAVELING BY CAR:
The drive to Ticonderoga is beautiful at all times of year. If you want the scenic route, we recommend getting off of I-87 N (the Adirondack Northway) at exit 22. This route passes through the village of Lake George, and then drives along the length of the lake up to Ticonderoga.
