Tristan and Paige’s paths have actually crossed many times before without the two knowing. As kids they would go to the Fresno Falcon hockey games, and eventually Fresno Monster games. They also share a very special family friend who has known Tristan and Paige since they were babies.

Paige and Tristan met on June 22, 2019 as juniors in high school. They had talked for months until finally they were able to meet up. From the day they met they became best friends. A little over a month later on August 4, 2019, Tristan asked Paige to be his girlfriend.

When they were in the early stages of dating they were both very busy with school and competitive sports, hockey and softball, but still made the effort to spend most of their time together.


They graduated high school in 2020, and Paige went on to play college softball in New Mexico, while Tristan also moved away to play hockey in Wyoming. The two stayed together for long distance and made it work for about 2 years. Paige would travel roughly every other month when she was able to, to go see Tristan play hockey in Wyoming.

When long distance finally was over, their relationship was stronger than ever. On the 4 year anniversary of them meeting, Tristan asked Paige to marry him at their favorite place, Avila Beach.
