What accommodations are there?

Christmas Valley has 2 Hotel locations, but staying in Lapine or Summer lake (~60 miles/ 45 minutes) is definitely a feasible route. The Waldron Family home will be hosting the bride, Groom, and the wedding party, so staying at the location will unfortunately not be an option. We recommend booking accomodations in advance.

Are kids allowed?

Yes! We have many family members with kids, and We see no reason not to share our day with the little ones. We want to remind everyone who does bring their little one they they are solely responsible for their child. The Bride and Groom and their families may be partaking in adult substances, and it is completely up to you if that is what you want your child exposed too.

Are dogs Allowed?

Yes! The couple will be bringing their dog, the hosts, Chad, Janet and Levi all have dogs there and The couple thinks it would be a fun activity to play with, and take pictures with the dogs during cocktail hour. Dogs will not be roaming during the reception and dinner, if they can be polite and relaxed during the ceremony they can be seated with the guests. There will be a separate play area for the dogs. Dogs NEED to be Spayed/Neutered, up to date on all shots, and be friendly with other dogs and animals, as Chad and Janet also have Peacocks and Chickens. If you have any specific concerns, please reach out to the couple directly.

Cannabis

Oregon is a medically and recreationally legal state for marijuana consumption, The couple felt the need to make anyone coming from out of state aware that you may encounter someone consuming cannabis during the reception. We would no more ask a medical cannabis patient to go with out their medicine than we would anyone else to. Of course, common courtesy is still expected to be followed. I.e., no blowing smoke near other individual or groups, keep it away from the kids, etc.
