Our Wedding

Pam and Eric grew up one street away in Nedrow, NY. They didn’t play together much as kids since Eric was a few years older, and a boy. (In the 80’s it wasn’t “cool” to play with a kid that much younger than you unless you parents forced you too.) Until one day, Eric threw Burdocks in Pam’s hair when she was 8 years old and rubbed it in. Her mom was furious and told her to “stay away from him.” 30 years later…. They saw each other again while their kids played baseball at the local park. No conversation was had, but Eric never stopped staring! 😍 In July of 2013 at a Popular party, Eric walked up behind Pam as she was dancing and decided to join her. They danced and said good night. By the end of the night, Pam was again told to stay away from Eric. (Siblings rivalry? Or fair warning?) But…. By 3:00am Pam was getting messages on Facebook. They had several conversations and dates, and officially started dating on 7/31/13. One evening in late August, while leaving for the night, Eric let the words slip out…“I love you!” Two years later, Pam and Eric welcomed a baby girl! The final addition to add to the 3 boys they had when they combined their house holds. After several years of birthdays, anniversaries, graduation's, deaths of special loved ones, a Pandemic, marriages and births of their grandchildren; he did it!!! FINALLY, after 12 years on Christmas Day 2024, he asked Pam to marry him. Her response all 3 times he asked was “Are you serious?” After a good cry, some hugs and kisses Pam finally said ”YES!” And so…A new chapter begins! 💍

Carrie is Pam’s person! Her ride or die, her right hand, the first “what the hell” phone call, her shoulder to lean on, her logical thinker, and her very best friend! There’s no one else I’d rather have by my side! Love you girl!

Sue is Pam’s oldest sister, and is married to Dani. She has been through many trials and tribulations with me and has supported me every step of my life. She’s the one I could always count on to tell whether I needed to be set straight or validated. Dani has been the perfect addition to our lives and we are glad she became our sister.  We love you both!

Cindy is Eric’s only sister and the oldest of 4 children. She adds the spunk to family gatherings and is always good for a laugh or two! She holds her own and always reminds her brothers she can still tie them to trees! We are excited to have her be a part of our day. We love you!

Michele took the challenge and joined our family a few years ago when she married Pam’s oldest son. Her love, thoughtful ways, and kind heart has grown with us all these last few years. We love you!

He needs no intro! He is the always the life of the party and comes out with the one liners that have you spitting out yer beer! We are glad to have Darren a part of our day.  We love you! 

Darren McLaughlin

Another guy that needs no intro! Matt’s witty nature and sarcastic humor lets everyone know he’s in a room. He is the youngest of 4, but holds his own when he is with his siblings. Glad to have him joining us on our day. We love ya, Fruity!

Scott has been a staple in the Nedrow and South Onondaga areas since Pam and Eric were kids. He braves the storms at family gatherings, and makes the best Mac n Cheese! His big heart and caring ways always reminds us of why we are glad he is a part of our day. We love you big guy!

CUTEST KIDS EVER!!! These two are most precious gifts we could ask for and are so blessed they are apart of our day. Gramma and Grampa love you both so much!!!

Dion is married to Pam’s best friend Carrie. From the first day they met, Eric and Dion have had a special bond. Dion told us 12 years ago he would marry us if we ever decided to take the plunge. Holding true to his word, he finally gets the opportunity. We are so glad you get to help us make it happen and are a part of our day. We love you!
