You should definitely consider getting a prepaid SIM card for mobile and data service. A 20gb cell plan can be bought at Vodafone for only 20 Euros. For convenience, there is a Vodafone kiosk at Lisbon Airport but you can buy a SIM card at any other Vodafone store or through a different cellular provider. Buying a roaming plan with your existing cell provider is another option but we think the prepaid SIM card is cheaper.

Portugal has lifted all entry requirements and they no longer require proof of vaccination or a negative Covid-19 test result.

You can arrive on Monday night and leave on Wednesday (the day after our wedding). However, we recommend that you arrive to Algarve by the Saturday or Sunday prior to the wedding. Keep in mind that for those of you travelling from Canada and the US, you will probably be jet lagged. We want to make sure that you have enough time to get used to the time zone to be able to dance out the night and party till the end in our wedding (That's a request from the bride and groom)! In terms of how long you should stay there, it depends on your schedule and how much of Algarve you want to see. But we recommend staying for at least 5-6 days to enjoy this beautiful region.
