Joshua and Paola met while both were serving in the Spartanburg Purepecha Group. Joshua moved to the area in 2019, when the group was starting, and Paola moved to Spartanburg in 2022. As they helped in the group, and got to spend more and more time together, they became friends, and on February of 2023, after Joshua asked Paola to meet for coffee "to talk about certain things that were on his mind", they began dating. We fast forward eleven months, and on January 21st 2024, after telling Paola that they were accompanying some friends to Asheville, NC, Joshua got down on one knee at Jump Off Rock in Hendersonville, NC and proposed to Paola. Now, on the verge of their forever, they are excited to plan their special day and share it with their loved ones!
