Favorite food: foot long corndog and curly fries, and their cinnamon bread

We normally like to park at the Pigeon Forge Trolley Station (236 Old Mill Ave, Pigeon Forge, TN 37863) as you can get a one-person whole day pass to ride the trolley for 3 dollars (cash only). The Dollywood trolley will take you from there to Dollywood for that price.

There are two prefered routes for reaching the falls: either by way of the nearly 5.5 mile Hampton Blueline/Laurel Falls Trail (#501) combined with a hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail (#1), or the more moderate route along the Appalachian Trail from Dennis Cove (approximately 2.6 miles roundtrip). Our Preferred Way: Via Appalachian Trail (#1) at Dennis Cove: Directions: From Hampton (TN-67E/US-321 S) turn right onto Dennis Cove Rd for approximately 3.7 miles to the trailhead on the left. Trail Information: From Dennis Cove AT Trailhead, follow the AT (#1- white blaze) northbound for approximately 1.3 miles to the falls. Please be aware that towards the last part of the hike, you will have to go down many steps that have been made by big rocks, so it can be intense.
