We’re so excited that many of you plan to explore Italy before or after the wedding—this is exactly why we dreamed of a celebration here! With so much travel involved, many of you have asked for guidance on when to arrive in Florence and Cortona. Here’s what we recommend:

Florence:

We’ll be flying into Florence on Monday, June 23rd, and recommend that guests planning to join the cooking class on Wednesday, June 25th, aim to arrive in Florence by Tuesday evening at the latest.

Cortona:

We’ll head to Cortona on Thursday, and we suggest that all guests plan to arrive in Cortona by Friday afternoon at the latest to be able to settle in and relax before the night before celebration.

Some guests may head to Cortona as early as Wednesday night, while others might wait until Friday afternoon—the timing is entirely up to you and your travel plans!

Please check that your passport is up to date and does not expire within 6 months of the wedding date. Also, check etias.com to see if you will need to apply for the new European travel authorization (they said they would roll this out in 2025, but there have been no updates as of mid-January).
