Kevin's Story:

Patricia and I met in January of 2017, although she won’t admit to that. We didn’t talk much during January and we thought nothing of it as we did not think we would see each other again. Fate seemed to have a different plan though as the trainer for Thoroughbred’s AMC transition suddenly backed out. Patricia was already helping transition another Carmike theatre to AMC, and was having a rough week of migraines. She was asked to become the trainer for Thoroughbred. Patricia could have easily explained what she was going through and turned it down, but instead she decided to take on this responsibility. Neither of us knew it but that decision and bravery would change both of our lives forever. We spent almost every day together over the next 10 days and got to know so much about each other that we decided to give long distance a shot. Over the next year we both constantly travelled between Dallas and Nashville to see each other until I decided to move to Dallas to be with her and her two amazing kids Dresden and Ally, and Annabelle!
