We highly recommend to fly into Newark airport or Philadelphia airport as they are the most practical options. John F Kennedy (JFK) is likely to be the cheapest flight, but will require additional travel arrangements.
Philadelphia airport is about a $60 uber to the hotel where the welcome party / most of the guests are staying.
Do I need to rent a car, or can I rely on public transport?
You most likely will need to rent a car. If you are staying in New York for your first night or few nights, you wont need the car until travelling down to the venue; but public transport to the venue/hotel is not possible.
You can uber from Philadelphia airport for around $60 to the Aloft hotel, and then shuttles will be provided to the wedding on the day of.
Ubers from Newark airport to the hotel are around $110.
We recommend you buddy up with some other people traveling down south to the wedding and share a car or connect with some of the local friends/ family to see if you can coordinate a ride!
Where should I stay?
The Aloft hotel (where the welcome and after party will be) will hold a room block for the weekend. You will need pre-book your room in advance to get the discounted rate.
Here is the link for the discounted room block:

How can I travel between Aloft hotel and the wedding venue?
A shuttle will be provided between Aloft hotel and the wedding venue on the day.
Where should I stay outside of the Thursday-Saturday wedding timeline?
We recommend seeing New York or Philadelphia! They are beautiful cities and are worth the visit!
If you are thinking New York, you can stay in Hoboken (which is where we live) for a cheaper stay than Manhattan, In Manhattan, Brooklyn, or Jersey City! All within a 20 minute public transport commute to the New York Touristy areas you'd want to see.
