Rio holds a special place in our hearts — it is one of our favorite cities, and is the place where we got engaged. When dreaming up our wedding, we wanted it to reflect one of our greatest shared joys: travel. Hosting our celebration in Brazil is also our (gentle) way of encouraging our American loved ones — especially those who might not otherwise visit — to experience the beauty, culture, and warmth of this incredible country. Since Murillo's family is from Brazil, this celebration is also a meaningful way for us to blend our cultures.
