No, they are not the same hotel. While all three are located in the Riviera Maya and share connections to Grupo Xcaret, they are separate properties with distinct offerings and experiences. The wedding is at Xcaret México, and your rooms must be booked there as well.

Guests are required to stay a minimum of 3 nights—December 16, 17, and 18, 2025—to attend our wedding at Xcaret Hotels. If you would like to be added to the room block, please contact us! A discounted rate has been arranged for our wedding guests, with reserved dates for the Hotel Xcaret México Room Block from December 13–22, 2025.

The room rate includes the cost of your stay at the resort; food; drinks; transportation to/from the Cancún airport; admission to all 6 nature, water, and amusement parks; activities such as kayaking, paddle boarding, and yoga classes; taxes; and tipping for staff. The only things not included in the price of your room are airfare, spa services, and souvenirs from gift shops.

While the bed configuration is not guaranteed by the hotel (you may receive either one king-size bed or two queen-size beds for the room), you can request your preference. A few days before arrival, be sure to follow up with the hotel, as this may increase the chances of getting your desired bed configuration. However, please note that it is still not guaranteed by the hotel.

Check-In Time: 3:00 PM Guests are required to provide a credit or debit card at check-in for incidental charges. Please note that a hold will be placed on the card for the authorized amount. Additionally, guests may arrive before their check-in time, and if their room is not yet ready, they can still take advantage of hotel perks, including food and beverages. Check-Out Time: 12:00 PM. After checking out, the hotel provides luggage storage and allows guests to enjoy access to the resort facilities (excluding the parks) until 6:00 PM.

The anticipated weather for December is expected to have highs in the mid 80s (27C) and lows in the mid 70s (21C). For your comfort, the pools are heated.

Not necessarily. Room locations depend on several factors, such as the room category each guest books—since different categories may be in various areas of the resort—and the resort’s occupancy level at the time of the event.

It is recommended that you make your reservations at least 30 days prior to your arrival. We will post a timeline of events and excursions planned for those days at the resort on our itinerary page.

No, if you're coming from North America. Yes, if you're coming from Europe. Mexico uses the same electrical outlets as the U.S. (type A and type B, 120V (or mistakenly called 110V)).

They do, for a hefty price. Packing your own is definitely the way to go, especially when you can bring the travel-sized versions in your carry-on.

Bring plenty of bug spray/repellent. While December is not typically a very buggy time of year, it can be expensive at the resort.

The first things that come to mind are mineral sunscreen (chemical-based ones are not allowed in the parks), water shoes, and a waterproof phone case.
