Our Wedding

In March 2022, on a VERY windy rooftop bar somewhere in Glendale CA, Paul met Katrina for the very first time. It seemed promising, that two people would emerge from the post pandemic online dating scene and find each other worthy of a second, and indeed, third date! From the start, the two intrigued each other, and began a natural and easy courtship filled with camping trips, theater shows, museum visits, new friends, and of course....cats. Nearly three years to the day of that first date, Paul popped the proverbial question in the forested environs of LAs Griffith Park, much to Katrina's surprise. Each now look forward to sharing the rest of their lives together as Husband and Wife.

The Pasadena Hilton is .6 miles from our venue, located in downtown Old Pasadena. It's a 13 minute walk or 5 minute Uber ride away from the venue. It includes an outdoor pool, and a 24 hour fitness center. The rooms are $233.22 per night which includes all tax and fees. Since our wedding is during the World Cup, prices in the area are inflated unfortunately, but we have negotiated this discounted rate for our guests.

For guests, we ask that you dress semi-formally to formally. Evening cocktail attire.We encourage you to dress to your preferred gender expression regardless of social norms while leaning into your personal style. This venue has a ton of early 1900’s-1920’s charm which may influence your attire if desired.Please consider wearing suits with collared shirts or blouses, dresses, skirts, or formal one-piece rompers. Suit jackets and ties are optional but encouraged. Dress shoes or boots are preferred. Stylish sneakers are also acceptable if new or clean-looking.No jeans, tuxedos or costumes.Wedding party, we ask that you dress formally according to the dressing guide already sent via email.
