Paul and Jenna met each other at the age of 17 while doing athletics together in high school and working together over a summer. They dated all through college, making the hour drive between their respective campuses of U of I and ISU.
After graduating, Jenna and Paul were two hours apart between Bourbonnais and Peoria, both trying to get their careers off the ground and settling for seeing each other on the weekends.
After two more years of long distance dating they decided they couldn’t be apart any longer. They decided to take a chance, pack up their lives, and move to the Colorado mountains with their puppy Otis.
They got settled within their careers of working as an environmental scientist for a mine and as a nurse at the hospital. During that time they nestled into their current home in Silverthorne and put down roots in the heart of ski country with friends and family.
Unsure of where the future will take them, they are very excited to celebrate with loved ones this September and grow old together.
