Palmer House a Hilton Hotel

The Palmer House is a favorite hotel of ours! This affordable hotel is close just to the venue and a short walk to the downtown parks and a great option for exploring the city. It is also very close to the train station. Rooms for the wedding blocks must be booked by March 26, 2024. The nightly rate is including taxes, resort fees, a $25 nightly resort credit for food at the hotel as well as complimentary wi-fi. This is a great deal and one we advise our guests to take advantage of.
Union League Club
This hotel is a part of the venue. Each guest is responsible for making their own reservation. They must call the reservations department at 1-(312)-427-7800. In order to get the room block rate, rooms must be booked by April 3rd, 2024. Individual guest reservations must be cancelled by 3:00 p.m. the day prior to arrival in order avoid a one night room charge.

Blue Line
Air travelers can conveniently use the Blue Line, which provides a direct route from O'Hare Airport to Union Station. Upon arrival, simply follow the signage indicating "Trains to City." Blue Line trains usually come every 5-15 minutes depending on the day and the journey typically takes around 40 minutes. This is the most affordable way to get to the city.
Yellow Cab/Taxi
Yellow cabs or taxis offer a flat rate for the journey from O'Hare to the Loop, where the venue is located. This option is often more cost-effective compared to Uber, and the drivers are more experienced with downtown routes. The travel time typically takes around 20 minutes upon arrival, and the fare is fixed at approximately $50, providing a stable cost without the fluctuations that ridesharing services may experience during rush hours or surges. The price also does not change based on how long you are in the car like Uber does.
Amtrak
For our Indiana guests, the Amtrak can be taken from Indianapolis and South Bend, IN. Both cities have routes that go to Union Station in Chicago. Return trains are available as well. See the Amtrak website for more details.
