<30min from Verona, this is the lesser known but prominent lake of the Veneto, Lake Garda. With many towns along the lake shore, one of the most notable is the town of Sirmione. Without much explanation Venice is certainly a must see town and a day trip recommendation if you do not plan on flying in there for the weekend.
