Our Wedding

Jared and Payton met in the summer of 2020, in the midst of the pandemic, and have been inseparable ever since. Over the years, they’ve navigated big career changes, built a life full of love and adventure, and have two pets—a cat named Cheese and a dog named Willy. In their free time, they enjoy spending time with family, going on road trips, camping, and fishing. They also enjoy getting tattoos together, many of which were either given by Jared or created by him during his tattooing days. They’re excited for a long, peaceful, and happy life together.

Our Story

Jared and Payton’s engagement story is definitely one for the books! Jared had decided that Mukilteo Beach, one of their favorite spots, would be the perfect place to pop the question. He made dinner reservations and stowed the ring in his safe, waiting until the last minute to pull it out. But on the day of the engagement, just as they were about to leave for dinner, the safe refused to open. Jared stayed calm on the outside but was in a full-blown panic on the inside. While trying to keep Payton from noticing anything unusual, he called in his brother to help troubleshoot. After exhausting every option, he had to call a locksmith—paying a small fortune to get the safe cracked open in time. With the ring finally in hand, Jared coordinated with his dad to secretly deliver it to the beach, all while keeping Payton blissfully unaware. As they strolled along the sand, searching for shells and rocks like they always do, Jared knelt down and said, “How about this one?”. Payton was so surprised that she froze, tears already streaming. All she could manage to say was, “Yes, yes, yes!” They were both crying tears of joy, soaking in the intimate moment before heading to dinner to celebrate. What started as a chaotic day turned into the perfect memory—one filled with love, a little laughter, and a story they’ll be telling for years to come.

Wedding Party

• Adults-Only Celebration: We kindly ask that no children under 12 attend so everyone can relax and enjoy the festivities.

• Ceremony Timing: The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM. Please arrive by 4:00 PM to ensure we can start on time.

• Parking: The venue has ample parking, so you won’t need to worry about finding a spot.

• Indoor Venue: Our celebration will take place indoors, so no need to worry about the weather. However, If the weather permits, there are beautiful outdoor areas to enjoy as well—feel free to bring a sweater or jacket to stay comfortable!

• Food & Drinks: A full bar and delicious food will be available throughout the evening.

• Menu Details: We will be serving a taco bar buffet with carne asada and chicken fajitas, a romaine and avocado Caesar salad, wild rice, and a black bean salad.

• Unplugged Ceremony: To keep the moment intimate and distraction-free, we kindly request no photos or videos during the ceremony. We’ve hired two incredible photographers to capture all the special moments for you to enjoy later.

• Attire: We kindly ask that guests dress in semi-formal attire. If you’d like to complement the natural theme, feel free to incorporate earthy tones such as greens, browns, blues, or terracotta into your outfit.

• Venue Policy: The event will conclude at 10:00 PM due to venue restrictions. Please plan your evening accordingly.

• Venue Location: Trinity Tree Farm has two wedding venues, The Lodge and The Barn. Our celebration will take place at The Barn. There will be plenty of signage to guide you to the correct location.
