This is one of our favorite places to adventure to in North Shore of Long Island. They have a scenic view of the water and you can explore the grounds of the Vanderbilt estate. They also have a planetarium with various shows that are played. There is a fee for touring the grounds and extra for the planetarium. But it is absolutely beautiful in the summer and even in the fall!

Central Park is another staple of the New York City experience and a special place for us. We took our engagement photos here and we enjoy a beautiful walk in the summer. Central Park is so big that you can come again and again and still not see every part. We particularly enjoy the Belvedere Castle and Central Park Boathouse. Another part of the park is the famous MET Museum of Art and the American Museum of Natural History. Those museums are fun to visit and cater to the masses. If you are a New York, New Jersey, or Connecticut resident you can pay what you want for both. In the American Museum of Natural History there are other exhibits that you would need to pay extra for but the experience is amazing!

Montauk Lighthouse is another beautiful place to visit. It will be more of a day trip but its a fun time! You pay for admission to the historical museum and the ability to go up into the lighthouse. You can also walk the beach and enjoy the scenic view. Although expensive, definitely enjoy a lobster roll after or before!
