How we met
We met at the University of Notre Dame, where we both joined a school club called Cheme-E Car. Every Sunday we'd meet to work on the project, chat about life, and exchange some playful banter. It took a bit over two years, but we finally had our first date two months before Peter's graduation.
Our love grew over the next 5 years. We survived long distance, lived through the pandemic in a tiny apartment, supported each other with our changing careers, moved to a new city, and became dog parents.
We are so excited to kick off the next chapter of our story with you!
Our journey
September 22, 2016
Peter and Hannah met each other through Chem-E car and competed on the same team for two years. The first time they interacted was when Hannah taped down a piece of tape across the workbench for a "No Peter Zone" because Peter was too messy.
April 27, 2018
Peter and Hannah finally started dating after two years of knowing each other! It wasn't until one month before Peter's graduation that he worked up the courage to ask Hannah out. This is one of their first dates at the Chainsmokers concert.

With Peter in Houston and Hannah still in school, they found whatever excuse to meet up - whether it's an ND football game or a spontaneous trip!
Here's them enjoying a weekend in Napa Valley.

They also picked up hiking as one of their Covid hobby! They have since visited a total of 9 national parks together.

They moved in together in Houston and first order of business was of course a puppy! His name is Boba - named after his black coat and bubbly personality. He might make an appearance for our important weekend!

They finally got engaged next to the Chicago Zoo! Chicago is a special place to them as they made many trips there early in their long-distance relationship.
Remember to ask Hannah about how she almost figured out the proposal plan the night before Peter popped the big question. Sneak Peek: Peter was very stressed and Hannah almost found the ring on the way to the zoo.
