This is our wedding venue site where we will be spending the weekend, and we would love for you to join us. There are 11 campsites available at the lakeside campground, which can accommodate approximately 100 people. As space is somewhat limited, please use the Wedding Accommodations Survey to indicate if you plan to camp with us so we can save you a spot. There are RV rental options, as well as places to rent camping gear locally, if you're traveling in but would still like to camp with us. There are lots of short-term rentals in Truckee and around the North Shore of Lake Tahoe. If you would prefer to stay in a house and are looking for good options for neighborhoods, consider the following:

1) Petra and Zach live in a neighborhood called Prosser Lakeview Estates. It's the closest neighborhood to the venue (exactly 30 minutes door-to-door). It's a quiet, family/dog friendly neighborhood with majority full-time residents.

2) Another neighborhood with a lot of rental options is called Tahoe Donner (just across the highway from Zach and Petra in Prosser). Tahoe Donner has lots of hiking and biking trails, and some of the rentals even come with access to the Trout Creek Recreational Facilities, which include a pool. This neighborhood has more second home owners than primary residents, but is still a beautiful spot and only 30-40 minutes from the venue, depending on where within TD you choose to rent. Fun fact, this is the largest sub-division in the country!

3) Sierra Meadows/Ponderosa Palisades is another great place to rent. Many options, a good mix of primary and second home-owners, and family friendly. This neighborhood is located close to downtown, and if you want to rent a home that is close to the hotels where guest may be staying, this is a good option.

4) Donner Lake is another beautiful place to stay. This is a busy place to rent in the summer, as Donner Lake is a huge summer activities destination, with swimming, mountain biking, hiking and rock climbing all within a small area. This area is approximately 40 minutes from the venue.

An RV Share Marketplace, RV Share is an easy way to rent an RV locally in Truckee or Reno if you plan to camp out at Webber Lake, but don't want to stay in a tent.

Outdoorsy is another RV share marketplace for you to rent an RV if you plan to stay at Webber Lake but don't want to camp in a tent.

Camping gear rentals are available at the REI store in Reno, NV. If you're flying into Reno, call and reserve your camping gear so you can pick it up on your way up the hill to Truckee.
