Grant and Peyton met on a 2 month trip abroad to Ecuador, where they were both completing their Spanish minors. After many excursions, a trip to the jungle, texting everyday in Spanish, and exploring the city with friends, they got to know each other very well and knew they wanted to pursue a dating relationship.

The first photo they took together! They were on a boat in the jungle and had just toured an indigenous tribe museum (hence the face paint).

Back at Liberty University, Grant officially asked Peyton to be his girlfriend at the top of McAfee's Knob, a 7.5mi hike in the Appalachian Mountains!

Peyton went to Grant's hometown, Wooster, OH, to celebrate Easter with his family.

Their one-year anniversary!

Grant visited Peyton's hometown, Houston, TX, to celebrate New Years with her family.

The proposal, aka, Super Bowl Sunday: Grant asked Peyton on a hike, and at the top of Cole Mountain, he popped the question and she said yes!
