What is the address for the ceremony and reception venues?
The ceremony and reception are right next to each other at the same venue! The venue is Spring Grove Events:
4414 Spring Grove Dr.
Appomattox, VA 24522
Will the wedding be indoors or ourdoors?
The ceremony will be held outside, with the following reception being indoors.
Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?
We have not reserved hotel blocks, however, we have recommended several hotel options under the "Lodging" section, along with links to Airbnb pages in both Lynchburg and Appomattox.
What is the dress code for the wedding?
The dress code is formal attire. We recommend men wear a suit and tie, and women wear formal or cocktail dresses.
How do I RSVP?
Please use this website to RSVP. If more than one person is invited on your invitation, please specify how many will attend.
If I am flying in, what is the best airport to use?
Lynchburg Regional Airport is the closest airport to our venue, however, there are no direct flights to that airport. American Airlines is the only airline that flies into Lynchburg. Other options are Charlottesville - Albemarle Airport (about 1hr 35min from our venue) or Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional Airport (about 1hr 20min from our venue).
What is the weather like in that area?
For early fall in central Virginia, it is normally very pleasant during the day (60℉-70℉), with it being cooler in the morning and at night (40℉-50℉).
Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?
We will do our best to provide options for you if you have dietary restrictions! We will be serving a BBQ buffet, which does not naturally have gluten or dairy. Some of the side options will contain both gluten and dairy, but no items contain nuts. We will also have one dessert option that will be gluten-free.
Is there anything I should bring as a guest?
Early fall in Virginia can lean more towards summer or winter... we never know! However, even if the day is warmer, the nights can be much cooler. We advise bringing a jacket or sweater, especially for our Texas people!
