While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home or with a babysitter so you can celebrate with us.

Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on the wedding invitation.

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Think cocktail dresses or a suit and tie or a sports coat.

Around this time of year, expect the weather to get pretty chilly. The ceremony will be outside followed by an indoor reception, so we advise bringing a coat or jacket in case you get cold.

Both will be held at McGuire’s Millrace Farm. The ceremony will be outside in the birch garden, followed by an indoor reception at the venue.

To stay within our budget, we unfortunately have to limit the rehearsal dinner guest list to those who will be playing a role in the ceremony.

Help us get the party started as scheduled! We recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony to make sure everyone is seated on time.

Please park in the gravel parking lot and refrain from parking towards the back of the lot, marked by barrels at the front of the venue entrance. If possible, please carpool with family or friends to ensure parking towards the back of the lot is not necessary.

We’ve blocked off a floor at the Stonebrook Lodge in Murphy, NC. If you would like to stay there, please call (828) 835-2753 and let them know you’re coming for our wedding. If there are no more rooms available at the Stonebrook Lodge or you’d like to stay elsewhere, here are other hotels in the area: Holiday Inn & Express Suites Murphy, Hampton Inn Murphy, Best Western of Murphy, Harrah’s Cherokee Valley River, Days Inn by Wyndham Murphy

After the ceremony, we will be serving light passed hors d’oeuvres accompanied by an open bar. We invite you to toast to our nuptials with a curated selection of wine and beer.
